Case study ·
Valantis
Valantis is a crypto trading and yield suite on Hyperliquid. Its web app includes Stake for HYPE rewards, Prime DCA for automated buys with idle yield, and Swap for token exchanges, alongside a pro trading terminal.
I have always owned design. We have never had a dedicated PM. Product sits with the CEO. I fill the gaps on discovery, scope, launch, positioning, and GTM.
We launched the first product in May 2025. By June 2026 the suite had about 4k monthly active users and $80k MRR across four products.
- Role
- I joined a five-engineer team as the first product and design hire, before the company had a product or brand. I own design and step into product management to unblock projects and initiatives that would otherwise stall.
- Team
- Five engineers, with me as the first product and design hire.
- Traction
- Within 13 months of launch, Valantis scaled to four products, ~4K monthly active wallets, and ~$80K in monthly revenue from staking yield, swap fees, and a share of Prime users’ trading-fee savings—while growing TVL 32% in 30 days to ~$210M.
Design System
I built and maintain an agent-friendly design system from the ground up, giving the team and coding agents a shared foundation across multiple products.
It keeps new features consistent, polished, and true to the Valantis brand—turning the last mile into the last few feet.
Brand Identity
I partnered with an external agency to develop the Valantis logo and foundational identity, then translated it into a cohesive product system.
I extended the identity across product UI, app icons, motion, marketing campaigns, pattern language, and responsive web experiences.
Website
I designed and launched the first Valantis website across desktop, tablet, and mobile, and continue to improve it as our products and positioning change.
For product launches and ongoing improvements, I own design, copywriting, and development, bringing in teammates when I need new data, a code review, or collaboration on copy.
